Cyprus exports increased by 47% in 2017

Export of goods from Cyprus to the rest of the world increased by 47% percent since the same month of last year, totaling 0.2 billion euro.  Imports increased by 45%, forming a 20% increase from EU and 122% increase from the rest of the world.  Cyprus mostly exports citrus fruits, cement, potatoes, clothing and pharmaceuticals. Its largest and most important trading partner is European Union, which accounts for 50% of all Cypriot trade flows, it is followed by Middle East, which forms 20% of exports.
